Born in 1987, I am a Swiss artist currently living in Amman / Jordan. After traveling the world, I studied International Development and obtained further education in documentary photography & photojournalism in Vienna/Austria. An intense examination of the work of Robert Capa, Gerda Taro & Chim on their coverage of the Spanish Civil War led to my interest in the consequences of conflicts & the human condition. I would later become one of the few photographers to be embedded with a special unit of the German Army, following the deployment of my own brother to Afghanistan.
Today, my work spans between assignments and personal projects in a wide spectrum of interests. A modest amount of international organizations, cultural institutions and media outlets collaborate with me.
